Consultant
The Consultant will work with diverse clients ranging from small and medium size enterprises to large Fortune 100 enterprises to deliver process improvement initiatives. Engagements are usually longer in duration and allows consultant to oversee the implementation of process improvement recommendations.
In general, the Consultant will perform the following job responsibilities in addition to others as required by each project charter:

Manages and implements process improvement initiatives within their assigned projects.

The Consultant is the primary resource to project teams in support of all process improvement initiatives. The Consultant will work with the project team and interface with the client to do process mapping with clients, process data sheets, and analyze process to identify process improvement requirements.

The Consultant will oversee the implementation of the process improvement recommendations with the client and interface with organizational change consultants, information technology consultants, and performance management consultants to coordinate all facets of process improvement initiatives.

Document Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current as-is process, and track KPIs during and after implementation of process improvement recommendation.

Establish effective working relationships with the Leadership team, project sponsors, and other division teams to deliver value to the organization.

Mentor and coach team members on the fundamentals of business process modeling, lean management, six sigma, business process engineering and similar areas of knowledge.

Develop new knowledge in process improvement to support our client initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Needs to possess a solid understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively re-engineer business processes.

Graduate Degree (MBA, MSc, MA, JD or PhD), and more than two years of professional experience or equivalent in combination of education and/or experience

Demonstrated knowledge and experience using process improvement tools and techniques to drive organizational change.

Proven ability to drive and manage change.

Cognizant of technology & systems but not necessarily in-depth expertise.

Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (such as found in MS Office Suite).

Demonstrated success in analysis driven problem solving.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to provide clear information for internal business partners.

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.

Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and influence without authority or title

Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information.

Ability to conduct large group meetings and presentations for internal and external clients at all levels, including executive and board level management.

Ability to coordinate and execute multiple complex projects at the same time.

Ability to work in team environment, hand-in-hand with client, and deliver solid results in a demanding work environment.
Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience with lean management, Six Sigma or process design and re-engineering strongly desired.

Knowledge of utility, or construction or healthcare industry preferred.

Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools.
